MACHINING: Our machinists have decades of expereince in CNC machining, turning, EDM and other precision fabrication of parts. With a wide range of surface finishing abilities, we can produce anything from high-end prototypes to small batch production runs.
INJECTION MOLDING: Injection molding is the core competancy of Freeform. We produce high quality parts at competitive rates. Unlike many other molding shops, we are willing and able to produce any quantity that is need by our cusomers. We offer a wide range of machine sizes and are able to process nearly all material types, including those used in overmolding and insert molding.
HIGH SPEED MACHINING: With any excess capacity in our mold shop, we offer high quality machined parts. Our experienced mold machinists are able to hold much tighter tolerances and standards than a traditional machine shop. These machines can also be used for secondary operations on plastic parts and assemblies.
3D PRINTING: 3D printing is higly effective for prototyping parts before molding them, but we also realize that sometimes it makes more sense to produce parts with additive manufacturing. Freeform has the ability to 3D print attractive, sellable parts at low to mid volumes. If higher volumes are needed, we are more than happy to assist in finding a turn key solution to accomodate.
FINISHING: Freeform includes all trimming, printing, and finishing requirements in the final price of the parts, making it a one stop shop to get your products ready to assemble or sell
INSERTING: Many parts require metal and other materials to be incorporated into the plastic for features like threads or interfacing surfaces. In addition to insert molding we are equipped with sonic welding, heat staking, and arbor pressing capabilities. This allows us to join metal (and other) components into plastic parts as a secondary operation after the molding process is complete.
